Design & Engineering

Every good pool starts on paper. Aquatech works through shape, depth, placement, circulation and equipment before any ground is broken, so the pool suits the property rather than fighting it.

Design covers the practical questions that decide whether a pool performs for years: how water moves through the system, where equipment sits, how the deck relates to the house, and how the finished pool will be serviced once it is full.

Drawings and scope are discussed with you directly, so you understand what is being built and why before construction begins.

Typically useful when

  • Planning a new pool on a residential lot
  • Fitting a pool into a tight or sloped site
  • Coordinating pool design alongside a new build
  • Reviewing layout, depth and circulation before construction

Swimming Pool Construction

Aquatech builds new swimming pools for private homes and for commercial properties across New Providence. Work runs from excavation, steel and plumbing through to shell, finish, coping, tile and equipment startup.

Commercial and residential sites are handled differently, and the build is planned around the demands each one places on the pool. A lap pool serving a property full of guests is not the same job as a family pool behind a house, and it is not built the same way.

Throughout the build you are kept informed on what stage the pool is at and what happens next.

Typically useful when

  • A new pool at a private residence
  • Pool construction as part of a new home build
  • Commercial, resort or multi-unit property pools
  • Pools built alongside spas, sun shelves or water features

Renovation & Repairs

Pools age. Surfaces wear, tile loosens, coping cracks, and equipment that ran quietly for years starts costing money. Aquatech takes on renovation and repair work on existing pools of all sizes.

Depending on what the pool needs, work can include resurfacing, structural repair, tile and coping improvements, plumbing corrections, and equipment repair or replacement. The right scope is set after the pool is assessed, not before.

Renovation is also the point where an older pool can be brought closer to how it is actually used now, rather than how it was used when it was first built.

Typically useful when

  • A pool surface that is rough, stained or failing
  • Cracked or lifting tile and coping
  • Persistent water loss or suspected structural issues
  • Old equipment that is unreliable or expensive to run
  • A dated pool that no longer suits the property

Pool Maintenance

A pool in The Bahamas works hard. Sun, rain, salt air and heavy use all pull water chemistry around, and a pool that is left alone for a few weeks shows it quickly.

Aquatech provides ongoing maintenance for residential and commercial pools, covering routine cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing and general upkeep, along with checks on the equipment that keeps the pool circulating properly.

Regular attention is also the cheapest way to catch small problems while they are still small.

Typically useful when

  • Ongoing upkeep for a private residential pool
  • Commercial or rental properties needing consistent service
  • Water that will not hold balance or clarity
  • Owners who would rather not manage chemistry themselves
  • Getting a neglected pool back into usable condition

Leak Detection

A pool that keeps dropping is losing water somewhere, and topping it up only hides the cost. Aquatech carries out leak detection to locate the source before repair work is scoped.

Finding the leak first means the repair addresses the actual problem rather than the most obvious symptom.

  • Water level dropping faster than evaporation explains
  • Rising water bills with no clear cause
  • Damp ground, decking movement or wet spots near the pool
  • Chemical use climbing without explanation

Pool Automation

Automation covers the control side of a pool: the wiring, boards and equipment that manage pumps, lighting and circulation.

Aquatech takes on automation and control work as part of new builds and as an upgrade to existing pools whose equipment is dated or difficult to operate.

  • Adding controls to an existing pool
  • Replacing dated or faulty control equipment
  • Automation installed as part of a new build
  • Pool lighting and pump control that is awkward to operate
